Topics that will be covered this month are as follows:

  • "In early June the world of leaf and blade and flowers explodes, and every sunset is different."  John Steinbeck

There should be a lot going on with your hives this month!  June and July bring exponential growth and honey production.  Quick and full hive inspections are important right now. You should be checking for the queen, all stages of brood, mites, and to see if pollen is coming in.

We will be discussing what is going on in the hive, adding suppers as needed, discussing splits and what beekeepers should be looking at in the hive.

Our next club meeting is Monday, June 10th at 6:00 pm.
We meet at the Mosaic Church in Hamilton at 206 W Main St. (Two doors west of Nap's Grill)
    .
Canned food donations are graciously accepted as a thank you for allowing us to use the church for our meetings.
