2024 Minutes

JANUARY 2024

The 2024 Beeginning Beekeeping class again took the place of the regular January meeting on January 27th.  It was a resounding success with 38 paid registrations and 11 trainer/exhibitor/guest attendees.

The venue at the Corvallis 17 Grange was great.

AIn a change from previous years the class time was shortened and we didn't have a lunch.  Snacks - bananas, yogurt, granola, muffins, coffee and other drinks, and more were provided.

Open discussion at the end of the formal class allowed participants to acquaint themselves with club members and each other and ask more specific questions.

Several persons joined the club or renewed their membersips.

We emphasized that monthly club meetings will provide more information on beekeeping.
